Multi Conversion Dialog Cut Off the Screen? Workarounds
A known annoyance: on small laptop screens, or with Windows display scaling turned up, StereoPhoto Maker’s Multi Conversion dialog can extend past the edge of the screen, hiding its lower buttons. The batch engine itself is fine — the window is simply bigger than the display it opened on.
Workarounds, in order of effort
- Move the dialog up: drag it by its title bar (or hold Alt and drag anywhere on the window) until the bottom edge and buttons come into view.
- Keyboard completion: the dialog is keyboard navigable — Tab moves between controls, and Enter activates the default action once your settings are in place.
- Temporarily lower display scaling: set Windows display scale to 100% for the batch session, or raise the screen resolution if the panel allows it.
- Use a second monitor if one is attached, dragging the dialog to the larger display.
Set up so it happens once, not every run
Multi Conversion remembers being used repeatedly for the same conversions. Do the painful setup once, verify output on a small test folder, and afterwards most runs are just “open, confirm, start” — few enough steps to complete by keyboard if the dialog is partly off-screen. The batch workflow itself is covered in Multi Conversion: batch processing.
This is a window-size quirk of a long-lived freeware interface, not data corruption: a partially visible dialog cannot damage your files. When in doubt, test on copies.
